Debut Album Coming Soon

Carolyn's long-awaited, debut full-length album, Grenadine & Kerosene, is almost ready for release! Grenadine & Kerosene is the realization of a lifelong dream to record a full-length album of original songs. Produced by John McVey at Cinder Sound Studio in Longmont, Colorado, the album features a full band of seasoned musicians, including guitarist Michael O’Connor, drummer Christian Teele, bassists Chris Engleman and Kramer Kelling, and keyboardist Eric Moon. Singer-songwriters Megan Burtt, Edie Carey, Jen Hitt, Jen Morrison, and McVey contributed beautifully arranged backing vocals. This collection of songs spans a wide variety of sounds and influences, ranging from folk-rock and Americana to tender love songs and quiet, introspective folk tunes that offer the listener a window into intimate moments. The album is, as its title suggests, a mixture of refined sweetness and raw emotion, packing a punch that is powerful and satisfying. Sign Carolyn's mailing list to keep up with the latest news about the release, and look for it everywhere you find music in Spring 2021!
